AboutLiposolution
NETWORK-Lipolysis SA is affiliated with NETWORK-Globalhealth.
Our clinical director, Dr. Aniali Aucamp-Nel, attended one of the first Injection-Lipolysis Workshops, presented by Network-Lipolysis in London, in 2004. She was trained first-hand by Dr Hasengschwandtner, who had developed the NETWORK-Compound and treatment protocols. After many years of personal experience and excellent results achieved with the Network-Lipolysis Compound, Dr. Aniali started the journey of discussions with Network-Lipolysis in 2015, by then a sub-division of Network-Globalhealth. In January 2021, she signed an agreement with Network-Globalhealth, granting her sole import rights and a compounding license for their Phosphatidylcholine-Deoxycholate formula, and the rights to distribute the NETWORK-Compound to Africa. This led to the establishment of Liposolution in 2021 and the birth of the South African network, Network-Lipolysis SA.
NETWORK-Lipolysis SA is an organisation that acts to inform patients about Injection-Lipolysis, and to provide patients with a register of Network-Lipolysis trained medical practitioners. It also provides a platform for trained medical practitioners to obtain new research studies and access new protocols, developed by NETWORK-Globalhealth. It connects trained medical practitioners to offer support to each other and report side effects.
Clinical support to trained Network-members is provided by Dr. Aniali Aucamp-Nel.
History ofNETWORK-Globalhealth
NETWORK-Lipolysis-SA is affiliated with NETWORK-Globalhealth, an institution that was first established in 2003 as NETWORK-Lipolysis. This digital platform allowed doctors to exchange information about the then-new and unknown aesthetic treatment, Injection-Lipolysis.
By the end of 2003, more than 100 inquiries had been received from medical practitioners seeking training, and from early 2004, workshops were being conducted in Germany. By mid-2004 inquiries were coming from countries around the world. The aim of NETWORK-Lipolysis was to conduct workshops globally to introduce this new treatment modality to medical practitioners and to scientists. As a result of the immense increase in treatments, a treatment protocol was formulated, and the communication platform expanded to include doctors from all over the world.
NETWORK-Lipolysis grew rapidly and by 2022 the number of active members had exceeded 76 000.
In early 2006, NETWORK-Globalhealth was established to promote the inclusion of other unknown aesthetic treatments or those treatments that needed to be standardised.
Today, NETWORK-Globalhealth is a recognised partner for many doctors and institutions. It is constantly evolving and establishing new organisational bodies that focus on research and training, the development of innovative products by doctors, and the creation of multiple communication networks.
