Injection-Lipolysis is the treatment of localised fat deposits through the injection of 2 substances, Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholate.

Injection-Lipolysis is the treatment of localised fat deposits through the injection of 2 substances, Phosphatidylcholine and Deoxycholate.
Deoxycholate dissolves the membranes of fat cells within the treatment area (-s), and Phosphatidylcholine prevents precipitation of the Deoxycholate and, therefore, ensures a distributed effect. This is followed by a process of enzymatic fat metabolism and excretion. On average 2-3 treatments may be required, at intervals of 8 weeks, although 4 treatments may be needed. These treatments can be performed on an outpatient basis at your medical practitioner’s clinic and social downtime varies between 3 days for facial treatments and no social downtime for body treatments.
Most areas of the body can be treated with Injection- Lipolysis, with the exception of the lower legs and female breasts. Injection-Lipolysis reduces body circumference and is not a weight loss treatment.
